A great start to a two-parter!
Appears on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode 44.24 (2022). Billy Bob Thornton (Tommy Norris) is simply wonderful in the lead role.
I noticed Jacob Lofland (Cooper Norris) when he was a new star on Justice
Ellie Larter (Angela Norris) as Tommy’s ex-wife and Michelle Randolph (Ainsley Norris), Tommy’s daughter, are unbearable, and I’m already hoping something really bad happens to them! Jon Hamm (Monty Miller), the character of the company owner and Tommy’s boss, may represent my hopefully unfulfilled fears about this nascent series.
Big Green: Good!
In short, I fear that creator/writer Taylor Sheridan is going all the way to bumper stickers and reducing the series to: Big Oil: Bad! If that happens, I’ll change my rating and walk away!
