Chronology
Two boys from very different backgrounds in London embark on a road trip north together. As they open up about their pasts, the boys discover they have a lot more in common than they initially thought. My first review! I watched this last night and all I knew was that it was about two teenagers travelling through the north of the UK. I wasn’t sure how I felt after the first 10 minutes but I kept going and I’m so glad I did. The playing from both boys was really impressive. Some of the scenes were very emotional and I found myself drawn into the story. The road north is the A1, a fantastic road that I think the film did a good job of showcasing. I always choose this over the M1. Some of the shots in this film are beautiful, someone has a good eye. It does a great job of showing the English countryside. It reminded me of my own teenage years and the people we meet. It might not be for everyone but I really enjoyed it and think it’s worth checking out. Thomas B.
